The 2006 Chateau Haut-Brisson La Réserve is a really enjoyable St. Emilion made in a modern style, offering inviting aromas of black cherry, blackberry, mocha, toast, tobacco and mineral. It boasts a full body with fine tannins and a silky, yet firm texture that's balanced and finishs up long. This is entering maturity now and should drink well over the next 8-10 years. This is a very successful effort in what is considered a somewhat difficult vintage (Best 2013-2020) - December, 2012 (JD)
