The 2007 Viña Bosconia has a high percentage of Garnacho blended in (15%) with small portions Graciano and Mazuelo. The wine is another sensational effort from this storied estate, especially considering the challenges of the 2007 vintage. This lovely Rioja opens with beautiful aromatics of red fruits with blood orange and sage that are nicely woven together. The palate unveils wonderful freshness and richness considering the challenges of the vintage. Pipe tobacco, leather, crushed mint and blood orange zest all connect with the sour red fruits. Beautiful now, this has a long life ahead of it.
