The 2011 'Joan Giné' by Buil & Giné is another fantastic new release from this estate and shows great poise and balance right now. Named after the founder's grandfather, this wine starts with aromatics reminiscent of prune, red cherry, rosemary, and red currant. There are flavors of red cherry, teaberry, pomegranate with dill accents from the French and American oak aging. Balanced and complex, this will age beautifully into the next decade. Give this at least an hour decant prior to enjoying. I think this one will age beautifully. (Best 2016-2028) - May, 2016 (OB)
