A blend of 85% Grenache with 15% Syrah, this wine opens with aromas of smoked brisket, creosote, black cherry and black olive. On the palate, there are concentrated flavors of red and black fruits, boysenberry compote, blueberry as well as baking spices and a touch of milk chocolate which resonate beautifully through the wine. This shows nice poise and persistance all they way through the long, multi-layered finish and should continue to drink well for years to come. (Best 2016-2027) - June, 2016 (OB)
