An unusual grape, Pinot Gris, for the Sangiacomo Vineyard, which typically plants Chardonnay and Pinot Noir which is vinified completely in neutral French oak barrels. The nose is dominated by white flower and fresh stone fruit aromatics with a slight tropical afterthought. Asian pear, crisp yellow apples, and a hint of lemon zest flavors combine with medium acidity and a medium mouthfeel to produce a solid Pinot Gris.
