This Pinot Noir marks the 20th vintage that this wine has been made. It contains individual lots of wine from each of Mary Edwards' producing estate vineyards: Coopersmith, Georganne, Meredith Estate and Warrens’ Hill. The Pinot Noir is primarily composed from Mary Edwards proprietary UCD37 clone, with small percentages of Dijon 667 and the descendant of the Windsor Gardens vineyard. The wine itself begins with copious aromas of red fruits with cola, citrus rind and tar accents. The palate shows some serious weight, as the wine unveils a silky texture that wonderfully coats the mid-palate. Cigar ash, black tea, wild blackberry cobbler and cranberry/pomegranate favors all collide and show some serious range. A long-ager, enjoy this beautiful bottling over the next fifteen plus years.
