The 2015 Helena Montana Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is another fantastic release from Anakota. Sourced from 950 feet on the foothills of Mount St. Helena in the Knights Valley, this outstanding Cabernet spent 13 months in 70% new French oak barrels, and it shows an incredibly complex profile. Alluring aromas of beautifully ripe blackberries and blueberries are woven together with spring florals, sweet spices, warm gravel and hints of loam all coming together in the glass. On the palate this offers a gorgeous opulent texture with outstanding concentration and depth. This goes on to thoroughly impress as it delivers layers of gorgeous ripe dark fruits through the exceedingly long finish. Winemaker Pierre Seillan has crafted a total beauty from Helena Montana in this vintage, which certainly possesses the potential for an absolutely brilliant future ahead.
