This coastal Pinot comes from two parts of Sonoma. One is on the low coast near the edge of the Petaluma Gap and the other is higher and further north, close to the Pacific. The cool climate allows the fruit to ripen into October. The nose is very pretty, with aromas of dark cherry, mineral, crushed rose pedal, saline and spices. It has possesses wonderful balance and lively acidity with a freshness that carries through the finish. Very fantastic entry into Web Marquez's range of Pinot Noir in 2012.
