This Pinot Noir is from the Estate vineyard located in the deep end of Anderson Valley. With a pale garnet hue, the nose is zesty and light with notes of fresh raspberries and juicy red plum. The palate has predominantly red fruit flavors of ripe red pomegranate and dark Bing cherries, but with a touch of spice and white pepper at the finish. This is showing well now, but will certainly benefit from some short-term cellaring. (Best 2016-2023) - December, 2016 (DJH)
