Disgorged in February 2018, the Domaine Serene 'Dundee Hills Brut' Sparkling Wine is a gorgeous effort from this storied Oregon estate. Sourced from the Mark Bradford, Côte Sud, Gold Eagle and Triple Crown vineyards, the wine is a compelling blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. This immediately opens with toasty brioche tones that mingle with suggestions of kumquat zest, marzipan and Japanese pear on this compelling nose. The silky mousse entices as bright green apple and lemon zest flavors entice, melding with shades of cinnamon infused sourdough bread. Bright and showing great effervesce and astringency, the M.V. Domaine Serene 'Dundee Hills Brut' Sparkling Wine should have a long life ahead, but is brilliantly linear in its youth.
