White Walnut Estate's Dundee Hills Pinot is a very nice offering in their 2019 lineup. It has an aromatic nose right out of the gate with notes of dark cherry, and dark berries, coupled with forest floor, rose pedals, exotic mushroom, brown spices along side hints of vanilla blossom and crushed hazelnut. On the palate, this has a nice medium body with good freshness and acidity paired with a hint of peppery spice on the finish. Delicious today, especially with some air contact and will continue to evolve over the next 5-7 years or more.
