2018 was a stunner of a vintage for Domain Drouhin, and this wine is no exception. Aromas of black plum, red cherry, Earl Gray tea and red licorice bounce from the glass. The palate gives clay-like tannins and medium acidity with fruit flavors of ripe cherry, cranberry compote and secondary characteristics of freshly cut grass and a slight hint of mocha powder.
