Aged for 11 months in French oak barrels, with 40% of them being new, the 2021 Haakon Lenai Chardonnay boasts notes of freshly cut white peach, marzipan, yellow wildflowers, parmesan cheese rind, and vanilla bean. The acidity checks in at the medium-high side and complements the full-body and rich mouthfeel of the wine. Just 268 cases were made.
