Fermented with 25% whole cluster and resting for 9 months in 39% new French oak barrels, this yummy Pinot Noir from Gran Moraine displays aromas of black raspberry, huckleberry, wet fall leaves, bacon fat and tangerine oil. I tried this Pinot Noir over a few days and it evolved into this almost Washington Syrah-like wine that was fascinating and downright delicious. Black and blue fruit driven on the palate, you are also treated with tobacco leaf, iodine and orange pith flavors. Acidity is in balance with the silky tannins and medium to full-body. 5014 cases produced.
