My favorite from my tasting of Penner-Ash Pinots, this phenomenal wine rests for 10 months in 31% new French oak barrels. Displaying scrumptious aromas of blueberry pie, fresh boysenberry, pencil shavings, toasted baking spices and scorched rosemary this is a fun wine to sit with for an hour and enjoy slowly. Now onto the palate - medium plus acidity, smooth tannins and a medium to full-body accentuate the structure while the lovely fruit and savory elements of the wine hit home. I say drink this now with a hard decant or enjoy over the next 8 years or so. 1240 cases produced.
