Checking in at 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot, with ¾ of the grapes coming from Ciel Du Cheval vineyard and the rest from the Klipsun Vineyard. It is aged in 100% French oak barrels for 20 months and then rests an additional 8 months prior to release. A flagship wine of the Delille Estate, this wine stuns on the nose - think of wild blackberry, cassis, ripe black raspberry, toasted baking spice, old leather, and mountain sage. Tannins are already silky and integrated. The wine glides across the palate with no rough edges, delivering a scrumptious, mouthwatering finish. Enjoy this one now with a few hours of decanting, or enjoy this over the next decade or more. Highly recommended.
