100% Syrah coming from a special block on the Hedges estate that is packaged in glass that is as beautiful as the wine inside the bottle. Powerfully expressive on the nose with aromas of black plum, macerated black cherry, smokey baking spice, crushed black Spanish olive, and toasted black peppercorn. It’s fresh, elegant, and silky, with wonderful purity of fruit and a full-bodied depth and richness. Needs another few years in the bottle to come together, then enjoy over the next decade. Only 100 cases produced.
