The 2019 'Rockblock Series Roundabout Midnight' Cabernet Sauvignon is scrumptious. This gets it name from “Roundabout” in their Twin Peaks vineyard and from Eric Clapton’s “After Midnight” in our Poetry vineyard. The aromas burst out of the glass, with black currants, dark cherries and creme de cassis are joined by exotic spices, cocoa, violets, graphite and hints of crushed gravel. On the palate this is full-bodied, dense and concentrated, with a round, opluent texture that is backed by a a deep, rich core that pumps out loads of beautifully ripe dark fruits and cocoa nibs, which expand through the seductive finish. There is no need for any additional cellaring, as this delicious and very accessible now.
