Aged 22 months in French oak barrels, with 37% being new. Medium ruby in the glass with a blueish rim, the wine expresses aromas of macerated black raspberry, mocha powder and cardamom. The palate explodes with raspberry chocolate truffle, thimbleberry, eucalyptus and dried Rainier cherry notes. The tannins are medium plus and the acid is medium leading to a lengthy, rich finish. 140 cases produced.
