The 2016 Brick House Chardonnay is a stunning release from this Oregon winery. The wine unveils ripe melon, pear and kumquat aromas that mingle with shades of cinnamon and clove on the expressive nose. The palate has tremendous freshness and verve, with a silky texture. Melon and orchard fruits collide with copious minerals and dusty terroir as the near minute-long finish lingers. This is a fantastic effort that shows the potential to evolve over the next decade.
