100% Pommard clone fruit is aged for 11 months in 25% new French oak barrels. Neon ruby colored in the glass with a bluish rim, the 2019 Meredith Mitchell boasts notes of spiced blue plum, boysenberry, Naval orange zest, toasted herbs, and just a hint of wet earth. The acidity is ripping, but the other aspects of the wine, along with the wet stone mineral finish, are wonderfully balanced and very delicious. Only 200 cases produced.
