The 2020 Willamette Valley Chardonnay is a captivating wine for the price point of only $40. Aged in equal parts new wood and stainless for the first year,and then combined into stainless steel for 6 months, it displays a lovely lemon-gold color in the glass. It’s beautifully defined on the nose with aspects of crisp green apple, apricot flesh, dried mountain sage, lime zest, and a slight toasted almond note. It’s a cohesive and structured wine that is big, bold, and absolutely delicious. 190 cases were crafted.
