HUNDRED SUNS Pinot Noir, Ribbon Ridge ‘Sequitur Vineyard’ 2019

The 2019 Sequitur Pinot Noir by wine maker Grant Coulter is fermented with 25% whole cluster in neutral French oak barrels. This was my favorite wine that I tasted from Hundred Suns and is silky smooth, seamlessly textured, and loaded with unique aromas and flavors of mountain huckleberry, dried blueberry, spiced red plum, Earl Gray tea, wet crushed stone, pencil shavings, and lemon zest. Round, plush, rich, yet elegant at the same time, this wine deserves some attention, especially at this $50 price point. Highly recommended.
